About Us
Marguerite Harper LPC, LMHC, ADHD_CCSP:

I approach the therapy process as a journey toward self-discovery.  My goal is to provide a safe, open space for that journey to begin. I look at each person as a unique individual who brings their own experiences, strengths, and goals to the therapeutic process.

My passion for working with clients on their path toward joy and resolution comes from my graduate work in understanding relationships−with ourselves and those around us. I am an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider and specialize in working with adults who have ADHD.  There are so many resources for those of us who struggle to manage our ADHD symptoms - it's all about understanding how our brains work differently so that we can live a happy, productive life.

I graduated with a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and have 18+ years of experience counseling individuals dealing with a variety of issues and transitions.

I pursue continuing education on a regular basis to be able to provide the most up-to-date research and skill development to offer my clients as many tools as possible to promote real change and growth.

I obtained my Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Colorado at Denver in 1997.  In 1999, I became a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado.  In 2019, our family re-located to Cedar Rapids, Iowa; where I became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.  Due to the COVID pandemic, our family decided to move back to Colorado. I volunteer with several charities that work with animals, and enjoy time out in nature with my family.
