We do not learn from experience, we learn from reflecting on experience.

Hi, I’m Marguerite

In trying to navigate my daughter’s ADHD and Autism diagnosis, I discovered a huge missing piece of education for mental health professionals regarding ADHD and neurodiversity traits. Through this journey of discovery, I was diagnosed as ADHD. I was stunned! How did I miss this in myself?

I became determined to understand ADHD and Autism and made it my mission to learn for myself and to educate others about our wild and wonderful complex brains. I became an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP), specializing in adults who are ADHD and/or Autistic (AuDHD) and who may have questions about their diagnosis and who may also be experiencing distress.

There are so many resources for those of us who struggle to manage our ADHD symptoms—it's all about understanding how our brains work so that we can finally implement those resources and skills to make our lives more fulfilling while appreciating the unique abilities we all have.

I approach the therapy process as a journey toward self-discovery.  My goal is to provide a safe, neurodiversity-affirming space for that journey to begin. I see each person as a unique individual who brings their own experiences, strengths, and goals to the therapeutic process.

I obtained my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Colorado at Denver. I have over 20 years of experience counseling individuals who experience a variety of issues and challenges.

I regularly pursue continuing education to provide the most up-to-date research and skill development. I also offer training and keynote presentations to many types of professional groups.

I volunteer with several charities that work with animals and enjoy time out in nature with my family.
